  • 1/4 cup nut butter (or oil)
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup (or honey)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup oat flour (or rolled oats)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend rinsed black beans, nut butter, sweetener, cocoa powder, oat flour, and salt until smooth.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips by hand until evenly mixed.
  4. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and freeze for about one hour until set.
  5. For an optional chocolate coating, melt chocolate chips with oil and spread over chilled bars before refreezing.
