  • 4 ½ cups King Arthur Gluten-Free Bread Flour
  • 1 cup whole milk (warm)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar for glaze
  • 1/3½ cup milk for glaze
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract for glaze
  • pinch of salt for glaze

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter and eggs; combine well. Gradually add flour, salt, and baking powder to form a soft dough.
  3. Cover and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  4. Roll out dough, spread with melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar filling.
  5. Roll tightly into a log and slice into pieces.
  6. Place in a greased pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
