- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 6 ounces cream cheese (or plant-based alternative)
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 5 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (for glaze)
- Warm the milk to 110-115°F, then combine it with sugar and instant yeast in a mixing bowl. Allow it to sit until bubbly.
- Stir in melted butter, eggs (or flaxseed meal), and apple cider vinegar.
- In another bowl, mix gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
