  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook Turkey Bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble it. In the same skillet, sauté chopped onions and mushrooms until tender.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, Parmesan cheese, crumbled Turkey Bacon, Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and mushrooms. Add eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper; mix gently until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish or lined baking sheet. Top with remaining ketchup.
  5. Bake for 60–70 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
