  • 24 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar for caramel sauce
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter for caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream for caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp sea salt for caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl; press into a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Combine sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour; layer over cooled crust.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and sour cream. Pour over apple layer.
  5. Bake for 60-70 minutes until nearly set; cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  6. For the caramel sauce, melt sugar until amber-colored; add butter, then cream gradually while stirring. Finish with sea salt.
