  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 packet instant rapid rise yeast
  • 1 tablespoon psyllium husk powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups warm water (110°F)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Optional: grated parmesan and garlic powder for topping

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, combine gluten-free flour, sugar, yeast, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt on low speed.
  2. Add warm water, eggs, and olive oil; mix until combined.
  3. Increase speed to medium and beat for about 5 minutes until thick.
  4. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and nonstick spray.
  5. Transfer dough to a ziplock bag, snip off a corner, and pipe six-inch breadsticks onto the baking sheet.
  6. Let the sticks rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes while preheating the oven to 375°F.
  7. Bake for 15–17 minutes until lightly browned. Brush with topping immediately after removing from the oven.
