  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar (or lime juice)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss sliced beef with cornstarch. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat and sear beef until browned; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, stir-fry bell pepper and broccoli until tender-crisp. Add green onions, garlic, and ginger; cook until fragrant.
  4. Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, and optional red pepper flakes.
  5. Return beef to skillet with vegetables. Add cooked noodles and pour sauce over everything; toss to combine.
  6. Serve garnished with extra green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
